  • Orders cannot be modified or cancelled once they have been shipped.

  • Due to the perishable nature of coffee, returns are not accepted.

1. Program Overview
By purchasing from Wicked Bat Coffee, you support the planting of one tree for every order processed. Trees are planted exclusively by our third‑party partner, Tree‑Nation (tree‑nation.com), under their standard reforestation projects.

2. Partner Responsibilities & Limitations
Tree‑Nation manages all aspects of seedling propagation, site preparation, planting, and maintenance. While we and Tree‑Nation endeavor to plant and safeguard every tree, factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, land access, local regulations) may affect exact timing, location, or survival rates. Neither Wicked Bat Coffee nor Tree‑Nation can guarantee the species, GPS coordinates, or permanence of individual trees.

3. Use of Funds
All contributions earmarked for tree planting are forwarded in full to Tree‑Nation. Funds support nursery operations, planting costs, community employment programs, and post‑planting care. No portion of these funds is used for marketing or administrative overhead.

4. Tracking & Transparency
Tree‑Nation provides a digital dashboard where customers can view the cumulative number of trees planted, project locations, and impact metrics. Wicked Bat Coffee may also display a live tree‑counter widget on its website. Certificates of participation are available upon request.

5. Not a Carbon Offset Scheme
This program is an environmental initiative and does not constitute a regulatory‑compliant carbon offset. Customers seeking formal carbon offset certification should engage accredited offset providers.

6. Modifications & Termination
Wicked Bat Coffee reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the tree‑planting program at any time. Program changes will be reflected on this page; continued purchases after such changes constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Liability Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wicked Bat Coffee’s liability arising from the tree‑planting program is limited to the value of the planting contributions. We shall not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses.

9. Tree Planting with Every Sale
At Wicked Bat Coffee, we plant one tree for every bag sold through our official online store, so if you buy three bags, that’s three trees planted via our partner, Tree‑Nation. Each purchase triggers an API call to plant a tree in high‑impact reforestation projects (you can learn more at tree‑nation.com/offset‑products).

For bags sold in retail or through third‑party channels, we fund tree planting in bulk based on total wholesale volumes (e.g. 1 tree per bag equivalent) and periodically allocate those funds to Tree‑Nation. This ensures every bag, online or off, supports our commitment to restoring forests, though the planting tie‑in is automated only for direct online orders.
