1. Overview
At Wicked Bat Coffee, we are committed to ensuring your order arrives safely, promptly, and in perfect condition. This Shipping Policy outlines our practices, timelines, and responsibilities regarding the shipment of your orders. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms laid out in this policy.
2. Shipping Locations
We ship to addresses within the United Kingdom and selected international destinations. Please refer to our checkout page for the most up-to-date list of available shipping regions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue shipping to certain locations without prior notice due to logistical, regulatory, or other reasons.
3. Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays).
- Orders placed after 2 PM GMT will be processed the following business day.
- During peak periods or promotions, processing times may be extended. Wicked Bat Coffee does not guarantee specific processing times and shall not be held responsible for delays.
4. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery estimates do not include order processing times and are subject to factors outside of our control, such as carrier delays, customs processing, or unforeseen disruptions. Wicked Bat Coffee shall not be liable for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5. Shipping Fees
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and selected shipping method.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where an item was damaged or incorrectly sent (see Section 8).
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking updates to reflect.
7. International Shipping & Customs
- Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country. Wicked Bat Coffee does not reimburse these charges.
- Delays caused by customs or regulatory authorities are beyond our control. Customers must contact their local customs office for assistance withheld packages.
8. Delivery Issues
- Lost or Stolen Packages: Wicked Bat Coffee is not liable for lost or stolen packages once marked as "delivered" by the carrier. Customers should provide a secure delivery location.
- Delayed Shipments: External factors may impact delivery times. Wicked Bat Coffee is not responsible for such delays.
- Incorrect Address: Customers must ensure accurate shipping details. Reshipping due to address errors will incur additional charges.
- Damaged Shipments: If an order arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 14 days of receipt.
- Provide your order number, a description of the damage, and clear photos.
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate. We may request a return of the damaged item before issuing a replacement or refund.
9. Subscription Orders
For subscription services, shipping is handled on a recurring basis. Changes to shipping details must be made at least 48 hours before the next scheduled shipment. Missed changes will apply to future cycles.
10. Eco-Friendly Shipping Commitment
We prioritize sustainable packaging whenever possible. However, protective materials may be necessary for product integrity during transit.
11. Multi-Unit & High-Risk Deliveries
For deliveries to apartment buildings or offices, customers must provide accurate unit numbers and ensure someone is available to receive the package. Wicked Bat Coffee is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect details or lack of recipient availability.
12. Weather & Seasonal Delays
Extreme weather or peak seasons may impact delivery. Customers are advised to order in advance to accommodate potential delays.
13. Governing Law
This Shipping Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in UK courts.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wicked Bat Coffee’s liability for shipping-related issues (including lost, delayed, or damaged packages) is limited to the amount paid for the order in question, excluding shipping charges. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or goodwill.
15. Force Majeure
Wicked Bat Coffee shall not be held liable for shipping delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, regulatory restrictions, pandemics, or transportation disruptions.
